your babies did NOT understand the "hurtful" words.

But an extra 1/2 lb on a tiny frame can be a big deal!
That said, they are all young, and keeping them 'trim', adds to their life, and enjoyment of life.
ALWAYS measure the food, and feed separately. Start with 4 times a day, and go down to 3 then 2, if that's what works for you.
I took a big girl, who was free fed, and started with 6 meals a day... and went down to 2, like the rest of the crew.
It is very obvious that you love them! You will do what is in their best interest!
