I was having a really hard time with my little guy, but it was truly my fault. I did not crate him when I got him and my carpet was ruined due to him marking. Make sure to take him on at least a 20 minute walk when leaving him for a long period of time. Block off areas you don't want him to be in when you are not there. I now have him with me in each room and block him off my leaving the area. It has helped a lot!!
