I use one pad for both mine (and did with both my previous yorkies as well) with no problems at all. They both go on the same pad. Every once in a blue moon Ollie will be too close to the edge and lift his leg and the pee will be part on/part off the pad and will seep underneath the pad a bit which requires cleanup. But that's not his fault (we always joke that it's not his fault because he's such a big boy with such a big ole weiner, he can't help it...lol!!!)

I've bought pee pads for about 15 years now and by far the best deal I've found is the human incontinence pads at Sams (or Costco). They come in a box of 120 and are about $25. The pads are very large, I think 3ft by 2ft. I put one down every morning and throw it away every night. You can find them by the adult Depends at Sams in the health section. One box usually lasts us several months.

Also, the boxes the pads come in are great! Very sturdy with holes on each side for handles. We keep them and use them for everything. We are so embarassed sometimes because when we come home and open the garage door, there are about 679 adult incontinence pad boxes lined up on our shelves. We store Christmas stuff, and electrical cords and all sorts of stuff in them. I"m sure people passing by that might glance in think we're running a nursing home or something!!!
