usually during the first week of bringing a new baby home you wouldn't want to switch their diets on them at all. you should stick with the stuff you were given for the first week and then you make the gradual switch to the new stuff.
personally, i would highly advise not using Eukanuba either, it has a high grain content and from experience with our golden retriever, that brand can cause many issues including kidney failure. i would switch to a much higher grade dog food, or if you are interested, i feed a homemade raw recipe that is very good for them and gives them cleaner teeth, good bowel movements, shiner coats, and overall better health.
wellness is a good brand of dog food i've heard, but even it has some issues i've been reading about. keep researching and you will find something that you really like and the dog does to!!
let me know if you want the raw recipe, it's super easy to make and it lasts for a couple months per batch in the freezer.
