We here in the Detroit region of Michigan have already had a reduction in the print paper. The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press combined the weekend edition several years ago, but earlier this year they both reduced home deliveries to only Thursday, Friday and Sunday. You can only get daily paper if you go out and buy it and it is really thin. I don't think either one still produces on Saturday.
Apparently, this system is being considered by every major newspaper across the country and they are all looking to Detroit to see if this further declines home delivery.
I don't read the paper daily. But, I love the weekend editions (as I have more time then) and I like the fluffy stuff like the Lifestyle section, horoscopes, games and the sale flyers and weekend Magazine. The only online news I ever look at is on Yahoo....
