But I couldn't find anything about my current question so I thought I'd quit lurking and post myself!
I have a 6 month old Yorkie named Zucchini. She hasn't been spayed yet because we are about to move and hate our current vet so we are waiting until October, when we can find a new one. I mention this because it might be related to our problem.
The last couple days she has been squatting like she is peeing all over the yard, over and over, like she is marking her territory. We thought it was cute at first, but after some research, I'm thinking maybe it is an infection or some sort of issue. She isn't really acting any differently, but she hasn't eaten much today.
Does anyone have any experience with this or know what is going on?

She is about the age to have her first heat and for about a week or two before it starts, they pee a hundred times every time you take them out. Could be an infection also.
