We have
this xpen from Midwest pens. We got the 36" one because Sophie is a jumper, too. We bought it and a midwest wire crate to match at Petsmart. We have it on carpet that isn't very thick but have used it on hardwood, too. She doesn't seem to be able to move it and she doesn't climb it either. She only climbs her crate.

But we've stopped her from that after she got stuck up there for a little bit.

Anyway, it has a door on it and hooks together with the clips. Here are some pics of it so you can see our set up. I actually have the crate against the back a different way now; the longer side is next to the back instead so she can have more room. The crate has 2 doors on it so I can move it around as needed.
We have it set up where we can open it up while we're home to let her have the run of the great room, entry, and kitchen. We bought two baby gates to set up in front of the bedroom (so the cats can escape) and the laundry room (where the cat litter boxes are). The baby gates are short enough she could jump over them if she wanted, but she hasn't tried. She learned boundaries pretty quick so I bet your baby will too! Good luck!
