Chipper was given to us when he was 6 mos? ~ that was what we were told.
My daughter-in-law's sister wanted to make some extra $$ and somehow got hold of about 10-12 puppies, all different breeds, to sell. She kept them in her car!
Well, she told us Chipper's sister had died and she had to refund the $$ for her ~ and she couldn't sell Chipper, and did we want him? He ate, he grew, he exercised - and has held his 4lb-6oz well for years - and it's all muscle!
He's small, but far from being a tiny ~ I've heard they're all susceptible.
We've never regretted that day! Neutered, no papers, no past ... but intelligent, active, and healthy except 11 yrs. later he still has an occasional seizure ~ he is our love.
