Oh, it is definitely a lot of work! I used to breed cockatiels. I gave it up when my total of birds was getting too high.

I found myself getting so attached..and then, many times people would bring them back. Just decided it was time to quit.
They are so adorable when they get attached to you...running to you like you are momma, squawking...something I must say I enjoyed for the time that I did it. My son is an huge animal lover and I swear it is partly due to handling those tiny baby birds when he was young. He helped me feed them and care for them.
