That's when he said he never heard of any problems with collapsing tracheas. I was sort of in shock and then he stopped. We were getting ready to deck him if he hadn't. I think he was pretty sure that he could get her to walk but she didn't. I got the feeling that failure was not in his vocabulary that night.
