OK I only read the OP post on this thread, but I got this far into it...

"He said I needed one of those collars with the prongs so she could feel it when I tug on the leash" and stopped reading.

I have less than zero respect for trainers like this. I'd say bye bye to that trainer. Love your two babies and take help from positive sources.

Get the book "The Loved Dog" by Tamar Geller...it works and it is alot cheaper and you must never use a pronged collar poor poor doggies that trainer has...

I am still trying to get the vision of a little Yorkie being pulled by a pronged collar out of my head...

Ok going back to read the rests of the posts now..
