I've never crated mine......but, hey if it's working I would say leave it alone. When I get a new yorkie, I'll keep it in an ex-pen alone for a few days while I'm work, just so the others can get use to it. They're all in the kitchen/living room, the newpie is just confined. The yorkies let DH and I sleep with them, all in the same bed. Everyone has his "place" at night, and all is well! (well, they get sleep anyway.....
