 Hypoglycemia
I have a little tea cup yorkie named Jay Jay, I almost lost him the first night I had him.. He has hypoglycemia,, he will be 5 years old on sept. 13th.. he still has spells where he shakes real bad and he won't eat . I have had all the test run on him.. he does not have a liver shunt or a tumor.. and all the vets say that he is to old to have hypoglycemia... but when he had his spells i gave him caro syrup and after a little while he is ok... now I went on line and talked to a vet he got me in touch with a specialist on line and she told me to feed him 3 to 4 times a day.. but he won't eat on his own.. so I blend his food with about 2 tablespoons of caro and I feed him with a syringe three times a day and so far he has not had one spell ...its going on 4 months now..
he looks and feels better than he ever has.. |
