It sounds like a collapsed treach. Yes, Yorkies do get this. They sound
like geese honking, however, it does come in different degrees.
My Buddy does this from time to time and it freeks me out.
Usually when he running around or getting hyper so I try and keep him
calm. It usually lasts for a couple of seconds. If it lasts longer and happens
frequently I would certainly have him checked by the vet. Some have been
known to need surgery.
If he's that small I would certainly be carefull of him jumping off of things.
His little joints can't take it and in time possibly cause him trouble or
even break a limp.
