Kayla is doing well, but we have discovered that she is not totally housebroken and has never been for a walk. Apparently she was kept indoors, inside an xpen for her entire life. She will be 1 year old next month and she did not even have a leash or harness. So her new mommy has to retrain her by keeping her in a small area when she is at work and watching her constantly when she is home to prevent "accidents". She is carrying Kayla on her walks because the poor little girl is frightened to death of the outdoors and the "strange noises" of nearby traffic, birds, etc. But things will be fine in time with patience and love.
