Over the years it’s shown the harm that has been done to different breeds by clubs who have set the standards.
It’s a fact.
A person can show a defective dog, produce many offspring and the kennel club will gladly shut their mouth and hold out their hand for money they make registering offspring .
I have NO respect for anyone who would purposely breed in such a way as to
cause harm and pain to any dog. |
Yes, it does matter who put the video out....when most of us know what PETA's intentions are. The go for the shock value. Both HSUS and PETA's goal is to do away with the entire pet population.
Yes, a person can show a dog that has genetic faults....but, those are the unscrupulous ones....and there are bad and good in every aspect of breeding.
I don't think anyone has any respect for those people that purposely breed dogs for their own benefit and pocket book. It's up to each individual that enbarks on the journey of breeding to monitor themselves....if they have little disregaurd for these wonderful lil creatures....well, they have to look at them selves in the mirror and have to meet their Maker one day.
We can sit and complain and post items such as this or get involved to help stamp out breeders that are unscrupulous.
