do you have an ibd colitis dog ????? My dog almost died of pancreatitis and ibd and this food has worked for 3 years and it was the only thing that worked for my dog so sometimes vet foods are not the worst and they work for some dogs and this is much better than my dog being on steroids for inflammation of the intestines so you have to be careful in scaring others not to use vet foods as sometimes they work and save dogs from drugs and other such things so you cannot discount that and i for one am not the biggest fan of vet foods but having had a year of pure heck to get my dog better and costing me 10,000 this food saved us BIG TIME and i know alot about this disease because of all i have been through. Just because it is a home cooked diet or raw diet does not mean it is for every dog. I personally like honest kitchen but my dog cannot eat any white potato at all and many dog foods have this in it so you cannot discount things that are keeping other dogs off drugs and this diet or the NF diet may save this dog and owner like HA saved my dog as he was on deaths door and for 3 years has had perfect blood work while on this food
