Hey My Tessie was spayed on Friday, she had some bleeding when I went to pick her up so she had to stay overnight. My vet stayed there with her. She came home with a belly bandage. He also said no jumping or stairs for 14 days but it has been very hard to keep her from doing this. Sunday she started running around and playing like normal. She has also been constipated probably from the medicine. She has pain meds but no antibiotic. We also had our 5 1/2 month old male spayed but he came home and acted like nothing happend. I think this is one of the reasons Tessie has the bandage so they can't bother her stitches. She gets the bandage off on Wednesday so hopefully she won't mess with the stitches. I have heard about the onesies but then she can't go potty. |
