It is possible that she could be in stage 1 of labor where there cervix dialates. I know that for the little experience I have, mine would get lazy, dig a little, and then try to sleep. I assoicate it with my labor with my children. Before the big moment you feel like crap and then it's time to push. I wish you a safe & happy whelp.
