My vet said the same thing. He thought he was too small to see anything but then he called a kidney specialist in and they did it together and he said he was surprised that they could see everything well enough. They were looking at his kidneys but they also looked at all his other organs as well. Just another thought did they check for guardia (its a parasite) that is what was making my little guy so sick. It even elevated his kidney levels enough to get them concerned about kidney disease.
