[Ivy Lucille]

Can anybody help me identify this bird? It has been hanging around my house for a few days. It sits on my roof. It is really an odd looking bird. It has big orange feet, an area of green iridescence on its chest, it appears to be banded with a white band. It's head is kind of mottled black and white. It resembles a pigeon but it is much larger than one. I haven't had any luck with identifying it so I am turning to you all. I am thinking it is a juvenile of some sort.

Any help would be appreciated!
