We have another dog, a Husky, but we just had shots updated including one for Kennel cough, because it is required by the groomers we take her too once a year.

Why after two weeks, would this just appear in Wendle?

Can it clear up on it's own? Or does it get worse if not treated?
Giving the KC vaccine can actually *cause* kennel cough - so did Wendle have the KC vax as well as your other dog?

KC can take weeks and even months to get rid of, and can really interfere w/ sleep. I'd ask the vet for both antibiotics and a good cough suppressant to ease symptoms.

Oddly, in simple words - KC usually happens from the presence of both a virus and the bordatella bacteria....so antibiotics *can* help, but not always.

Please keep us updated!
