It just makes me so mad!!!! That sucks that your friend didn't tell you what she was using your vaccum for! What are you doing to get rid of them?
My husband found a home remedie that we used yesterday (1 day after the incident) to help control it before it gets out of hand. Now we have to repeat it constantly just to make sure we kill the fleas before they get the chance to lay more eggs and start the process over again.
Here is what we are using for our carpet: 1 cup borax, 1 cup table salt, 1 cup baking soda. Your suppose sprinkle it into your carpet and then sweep it into your carpet and leave it overnight. Then vaccum it up in the morning and throw out the contents of the bag/canister immediatly as soon as your done.
We aren't able to leave it in our carpet over night with having small children and cats, so we went from room to room and left it on for 30 minutes. I'll be locking up my cats
tomorrow and the whole gang (my kids, and my 3 fur butts) will be heading out of the house for a few hours tomorrow as I will be retreating the carpets and leaving it brushed into the carpet for a few hours to do some more flea killing.
