 Layla is Protective
Our young pup (6 months) Layla will bark at most anyone that comes into my girlfriends apartment. Her mother she is fine with, as well as my parents and siblings, but our friends or most anyone else she will growl and bark while jumping around defensively.
If they pick her up she is fine. No barking, no biting. But if she is on the ground she will bark at their feet, and if they move she will nip (she won't bite but she'll pounce and put her teeth on them)
I don't know what to do. I could try using pennies in a can, but I don't know if that will take care of the aggressiveness. Help! |
