The rule of thumb on stud service prices is the fee is the equivalent of the price of a puppy. This may vary based on the record of the dog's previous production results, the showing record, and your desire to have him used for the first time. The cost of the shipping of the bitch should not alter the stud fee. That is merely one of the expenses of being a breeder.
Most stud owners "Premate" test the bitch, which adds to our cost of providing the stud service, but it pretty much guarantees a litter of pups. The stud fee also covers the cost of boarding and feeding the bitch, and travel to and from the airport."
The male should be "cleaned out" and checked 2 weeks before the bitch arrives for mating. Old semen and seminal fluid should be removed, by collection (either you or your vet) and a sperm check done, so that the bitch receives only good fresh
