I am praying for you and your baby, and especially for your daughter who I am sure is terribly distraught and feeling horribly guilty (without any added pressure from you). I used to be a Vet. Tech and delt often with surgery. There is absolutely no cause what-so-ever for anyone in the Vet's office to be anything but kind and consoling to you and I would report anyone to the Senior Vet within that office. Anyone who has a pet, I dont care if it is a worm, for a pet, deserves kindness, sympathy and the understand (in a warm manner) of what is going to be done to your pet, and why. That your pet will be isolated after surgery and the care it will be given.
I hope all turns out perfectuly for you. These little guys are really tough for their size and have a lot of will and need to please you. I am sure he will be fine in time. Bless you and I wish you and your daughter the very best, and you tell that little baby "to go for it!"
Pipp
