Introducing new lines into your program is a very good reason to ship, IMO. We have a litter of Australian Shepherds that come from two lines in which the mating of these has been much anticipated by some people. We are actually selling one to a lady in Germany. She trains and competes with Aussies and has been wanting a pup from my Stormie's line for some time now. When she heard who she was mated to, she jumped first in line for a pup. She is flying to Texas though to pick him up although she has shipped without flying herself before. I'm glad for that.
