I was advised to get Moses leg pinned and plated when he broke it in the same place. Unfortunately, I could not afford that surgery and had them set it. It ended up having to be amputated as that type of break rarely heals with just a cast. Now it has been 2 months since he lost his leg and he is just the most happy puppy. Runs, plays, dances on his hind legs. What I am trying to say is, it will only seem like the end of the world if the surgery is not successful and they have to remove her leg. She will recover and get along just fine without it. I keep asking Mosey where's his leg and he just looks at me!! He is a sweetie and he is just fine and yours will be too. |
