Some YT breeders have admitted they ship because they live in places where the going price of a dog is $250.00 and they can get much more if they ship out of state. If I could not find a good breeder locally, I would consider having one shipped, but I would want to pick it up, and it would fly back with me, that way, you could check out the kennel conditions, and see the puppies parents. To me, buying a puppy is almost as serious as adopting a child!
