I"m just curious here since shipping is so hard on the pup, why don't people buy from breeders close to them? I know there has to be enough reputable breeders in each state that we could quit taking risk with shipping puppies. With so many horror stories out there about shipping i'm surprised reputable breeders do ship. They take all these precautions to find good homes take excellent care of pups and mom, yet they put the pups in danger by shippin. Makes no sense to me. I could see if a breeder needed to bring in dif lines into her program then it wouldd be more of a necessity buy buying from a breeder half way across the world from you whne you have a perfectly good breeder in your area makes no sense to me.to me I"d rather support breeders in my state and surrounding states it' s like supporting a store in the next town instead of the one in your own town..
I'm not judging anyone here just was curious as to why it's done this way.
