that's exactly what i heard from the girl i got my maxi from. she was asking $1200 b/c maxi was supposed to be under 4 pounds, but now maxi is 5 pounds at 9 months and still growing (probably).

i don't mind her size at all. a little bigger is actually easier to deal with because it is less to be careful about, but i am annoyed at the girl for straight up lying to me. i found out later on that NO ONE can predict the size no matter what size the parents were.
