Glad you are giving it a little more time! It took each of min almost a month to accept the newest member. Our dachshund went into a depression and would not interact with us for a week. Then she ignored our first Yorkie for another week or two. Finally she found that it was pretty fun to have a little chew toy! And they were fast friends after that. Then when my son got a Jack Russell, the others ignored her. She was persistant though and they all became friends too. It just takes time. I would not push them together, let them work it out.
She is a cutie! I do understand people wanting the papers, I wanted them for all of mine, even though I spayed them myself until Sadie. Remember since the papers are marked limited, they cannot register any puppies if they were to breed her. I think people just like the papers to assure themselves the dog is a product of AKC breeding. That was my thinking anyway.
I paid $1500 for Sadie too. I think that was a fair price for a female puppy from an experience, AKC breeder. I think you were right to reduce the price to $900 since yours is older. People expect to pay less if they do not get them as a puppy, especially if they are not spayed and house-trained. But hopefully, you won't have to worry about a price and it will all work out between your two! Good luck!
