Thanks to everyones response I am happy to report he is 100% better and I am so relived he really had me scared last night. He started out a little slow not really wanting to put his paw down but once he got going it was like nothing ever happened he has been running around and playing like crazy back to his sweet playfull self. Did call the vet and talk to her and she told me that his paw was probally just a little sore from the splinter and to get a close eye on him but she thought he would be just fine. Thanks again
