During the night Toby vomited twice and had diarrhea twice.
I took him to the vets first thing. The vet was really good. He explained all the different causes for the diarrhea. He was going to treat it as a nutritional problem first.
He gave him an anti biotic injection, and a paste to line his stomach and restore the balance of the gut. He is not to get fed today to allow the paste to settle in.
Tomorrow he should get 5 small meals (chicken or rice), and stools should start returning to normal. If this doesnt happen, I have to bring in a stool sample for testing for parasites etc.
He is still in good form most of the time, so hopefully its just a nutritional problem.
