I was wanting a smaller dog but now after seeing SOME of the smaller ones and seeing how wispy and thin their hair is and fragile looking, I know that Ginger was meant to be my dog and I wouldn't trade her for any of the 2-3 lbers. She is the sweetest and cutest dog their is. I can't wait to take pictures and let every one see her. Because a teapot can hold more sugar than a teacup. lol This site has been very helpful to me.
There is a growth chart here http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...rt-thread.html that "might" give you some indication of expected weight, though it often can vary. As a rule of thumb, take the weight at 12 weeks and double it. However, some do most of their growing before 6 months, and others have their growth spurts later on.

Glad to hear you love her just as she is. Nothing else matters! Can't wait to see pics of her.
