I really think that it depends on the dog, Maddie was 2 lbs 2 oz at 5 months, 2lbs 4oz at the end of 6 months she hit a growth spurt right after that bumped her up to 2lbs 8oz haha
not that much of a growth spurt but every bit counts right. she has not gained an oz since and is almost 11months. I am hoping that she will have another growth spurt here soon, it would be great if she would hit 3lbs for her 1st bday
Copper grew very different than Maddie, he stopped gaining at about 5 months and then hit a growth spurt at a year, and another growth spurt at 15months.
Again all of them are so different, I feel like my yorkies are always surprising me in one way or another.
