You would be surprised at what the adrenilin rush lets them do. I had one go in labor and I picked her to put over the baby gate while I rushed to set everything up 9it was a surprise), looked around and there she was in the kitchen. Picked her up and put her in the whelping box inside the x-pen, looked around and there she was in the kitchen again. i finally had to hold her on my lap while she was in labor to keep her from killing herself.
