uses the stairs, but he is old enough to know his limitations, and if bear is sleeping near the steps and he is afraid of disturbing him, he will whine enough to wake me up so I have to physically lift him down past the steps and bear so he can tippy toe off to wherever, rather than jump the distance... I think I'll do the platform with drawers under...thanks for the confirm. We have actually accidentally kicked cats off the foot of the bed in the dead of the night and that is what I am afraid of with the girls.
