I've read poor reviews on that quick finder trimmer. I really suggest a simple nail clipper. You only take off the tips and done every week or so...keeps them at the correct length.

For hair in the ears..you can take a bit of ear powder, talcum powder, or corn starch....sprinkle it in and you can pull out the hair with your fingers. It comes out easily.

To trim the hair on the paw pads...I use a wahl trimmer. It's battery operated and cost 20 bucks. A man's mustache trimmer works too. And you can use this to shave her ears also.
