resort to that! I have a set of steps that Baxter uses to get up and down. I've been wanting a set of drawers around the bottom of the bed anyway and that would be the perfect height for a platform to set just the mattress on and jettison the box spring. Furkids, couldn't escape under and it would be not so far off the ground. Then fluffy rug around...could eliminate the pesky steps. hmm, remodeling and reconstruction just for the dogs? of course!!! May need a lift to get the old people up off the bed from that low. That'll be another thread..lol
