From what I understand and have been told, a dogs' heat cycle is every 6 months (or what ever your females regular cycle is) regardless if they've been PG or not. So.......heat in January means heat again in 6 months = July.
If she did go into heat in July, and if you're sure they did not tie, then maybe she is experiencing a false pregnancy???? If you're unsure, you could take her in to be examined or have an ultrasound done to confirm whether she is or not. |
