I know Yorkies are the most adorable dogs. I can't imagine ever having another dog that wasn't a Yorkie. I got a of books on Yorkie's and dogs from my local library before we adopted this one. It really helps. My vet calls Yorkies "Little Generals"--they can be bossy little dogs. They know what they want and they can be impatient. The smaller ones are adorable, but they can be less sturdy. Some can have difficult teeth and a delicate treachea. They can also have a little snort that sometimes sounds like a goose--but that is normal. Please look into rescueing a dog. They are wonderful dogs. Not all are old or have been sick. Most of the dogs people got them not realizing that they are too delicate for kids under 8, that they need to eat 2-3 times a day, or that the vet bills were too much for them. With the economy in the state it is in a lot of people have given up their gorgous adorable pets. The rescue league I used works out of PA and NJ. They have lots of dogs--all ages.
