YES..undescended testicle is a disqualifying issue for AKC shows which is why my boy was not being shown. I was aware of all this from the reputable breeder when I bought him. His testicle is partially descended so the vet said he is not at risk of cancer from it and it is not hereditary.
He is 4 years old now and we have bred him without incident.
