KJC-- there are any number of threads that are related to or mention CM as you call him and I have posted any number of times that why his methods are not the best course of action and the fall out of using them.
As to the rest of the post I work with and live with a rescue that has major issuse and I have also started a freshly minted baby.
I have worked with dogs coming out of a breeding kennel that are poorly soicalized. I have transported a five time human biter at the ripe old age of 11 months back to a breeder.
There is not need to use choker on any dog as there are other devices like head collers that can and do do the job of controling a dog better.
I have also used a martingale no my dog a self limiting choker but found thzat she was smart enough to slip it if she was in need to go hunt a dog or two. That is why it more safe to run a hatlie onto a coller or harness so you have them if they let fly.
Problem with chokers is that all to many do not even know how to put them on in the right manner and depending on the gage of the choker it can do a great deal of harm to a dogs trac and to use them effectively you need to pop it the first time so hard the dog is air born. If not and you slowly increase the level of pop strenght you are teaching the dog to addapt and cope and ingore it.
There is the be a tree method to teach no pull and several others that can and do work. When working with dogs as big as 100 pounds I am not big enough to pull and pop and drag. I Work yorkies too and I know they can pul like afreight train but they are not goingto dag me like the big guys.

As for putting one on a yorkie the risk to a trac is far to great to do that. I rahter a yorkie pull then one that can not breath right.

Quicksilver- Ceser does not let the AHA their film division in on his set like all the other TV productions do. So why not? what is he hiding? What he was been caught at and sited for is bad enough. The public does not know just how bad it is because of that.
What we do know and see is bad enough if you understand learned helplessness.
Cesers teaching too and he hits a wider group of people then Brad.
While Brad is more aggressive to the humans and is less sophisticated in hiding what he does with the dogs. People tend to do what many here are and blowing him off.
Ceser is being investigated for the Husky clip and possible choking a dog to passing out and also been sited twice already. Brad still to my knowledge in the clear....I am not defending Brad, I do not like him either Brad is more or less shotting himself in the foot by begin not nice to the humans in the show he pretty much self limiting himself and will.
Now we could get into bark busters as well and there out dated training methods to. It not just one person or group it the method of training and it going the way of the dinosaurs just not fast enough.
