I am now checking this thread just to see when you will be posting that they are "popping" out... i mean, puppies.
She is definetely close. If you read the Merck veterinary manual, puppies can be born between 56 to 72 days of pregnancy, most being born at day 63, so even if you did know for sure you would have a window of uncertainty...
My experience is that when the temperature starts to go up and down and up again is getting closed, it may go down to 98 , but not always. Usually they do not eat on the 12 hours prior , but i had 'porkers" eating 15 min before contracting.
Hard bellies are contractions for sure. But again, similar to humans they can contract on and off for a few days, or just start progressing and then.. just pop them out.

i hoped you would have taken her to have Xrays done already so you would stop guessing how many and how big. you can also see how they are positioned.
well, time will tell now, and the more they move the closer to delivery it is.
