Kimbo gets a bath every 6 days and is brushed every night. All he has to do is hear the word bath and he starts whining. We try to talk him through it, but he really doesn't love it yet. No screaming or growling, only whimpering and escape attempts. Every night after dinner he and I sit down with about 6 pieces of kibble that I reserve from his dinner bowl to "groom". He lets me brush him so nicely as long as I keep treating him with kibble. Once the last piece is gone, he's done. He usually checks my hands to make sure I'm all out, and then he hops off my lap to go play. |
