Well, of the three I have had the pleasure to love/groom/bathe I can say this:
They are all different. One loves the water and never squirms. One doesn't love it but suffers through it for me, and one gets feisty in the sink and I have to scold him.
Treats are good. Also, just be matter of fact about it. I brush and bathe Fergus, he isn't overjoyed about it, but he knows he has no other choice. So, as long as you are firm, but loving, you will set the pattern. Its like anything else with a yorkie: you have to either make THEM want to do it, or make darn sure they know YOU want it and are going to get your way regardless.
Not mean, but firm. Then my Fergus always gets a good snuggle when he is clean and fresh!
