I would like to thank all of you for your response. I would like to say that the first visit to the vet had prescribed some painkillers for Hannah. It's Friday morning 8:00 am and we finally found a vet that specialist in orthopedics with good experience. The vet took at look at the x-ray that was giving to me from the first vet and examined Hannah. He gave me a good explanation about the how the surgery would be performed. Amount for this surgery $1,475.00 first the Dr. would have to position the bone back to its original place then insert 2 thin rods "X" crossing the bone starting from the broken one to the other side of the good bone holding it in place "pic image". Finally he would form a pamper shape cast having the left side longer to hold her leg. Healing would take 6 wks with cast on and prevent her from trying to walk. The reason for this is because if her bone grows back off course then she can develop arthritis but if all goes well then she will heal perfectly normal. Her early age makes a difference when it come to a fracture bone. My baby was injected with an anitibiotic and was taken to the operation room. Was hard to see her go but I know it was for her own good. Thank you all I will keep you posted. Please pray for her.
