You're totally right! Pay is less in AZ than it is here.

I've done the cost of living calculators you can find on certain websites. It's SHOCKING! House prices are 56% cheaper. Overall Scottsdale is 45% cheaper. (This will make up for the HIGH energy bills.)
We have thought of renting, in order to stay in this area. But we have two dogs, which makes it difficult. Also, we want to roll the equity we have in our current home into another property.

Luckily I've had the chance to visit the Scottsdale area many times. There is a lot that the area has to offer. For one thing, no fog!
