 how long will he cry
I have an 11 week old puppy who joins a 1 year old and two 3 year old dogs. I need to confine him when no one is home. I tried the night I brought him home to put him in an x-pen (not even a crate) and he cried for 4 hours before I gave up and picked him up. He is just a delight. The breeder sent him housebroken, at 11 weeks mind you, but I don't want to worry about what he is into if I am not at home. The breeder said she had difficulty trying to confine him also. Just how long do you let him cry? He sleeps on my bed and goes all night just fine. I get up early to go to work and put them all outside and he is the first one to pee.
If I don't break him now to stay in the pen am I going to be out of luck? He won't even quit if I put my one year old dog in with him. He just wants OUT. |
